Terminal competitiveness

The network optimization engine can be used from a container terminal perspective to measure terminal competitiveness.

Based on the networks currently using a specific terminal, as well as networks using alternate ports and terminals, it can be modelled how shifts in network design to and from the specific terminal will impact both network costs and cargo flows for the carriers involved.

This in turn allows for a detailed assessment of both terminal competitiveness as well as value added to carriers at the specific terminal.
